I can't begin to express how grateful we were for all of the assistance Will and his team provided over the course of many months. I say many months because the scope of our project changed several times, and our timeline changed at least three times due to other projects that we had in the works. Will was patient, informative, accessible at every turn, and we really appreciated how easy he made everything from start to finish. On top of that, our house looks so nice!! We will certainly use Paint EZ at a later date for future projects!

We had a staining job scheduled for our log home with Will and Paint EZ. Right before the job started, I was laid off and had to call Will to say we couldn't afford to have the house stained this year. Instead of just canceling, he offered to still buy the stain for us using his contractor discount, delivered it to the house himself, and took the time to answer all my questions.

These are good people who genuinely care about their community, not just about painting houses. I'm staining it myself this time around, and I can tell you I will never do that again. Will has earned every paint job I have from here on out.

We loved our experience with Will & Tasia of Paint EZ. I saw their ad on Facebook & contacted them. Will responded immediately & we set an appt for him to come out & give us a quote to paint our bathroom. It was less than I’d expected & we went with them right away. Although I didn’t think I needed any advice on the paint color, I’m so glad I had Tasia come out. We connected right away & we both loved the color she suggested. We found Paint EZ of Grand Rapids through an ad on social media and contacted them along with several other companies for quotes. From the beginning, Will stood out because of his quick response, professionalism, and incredibly detailed estimate.

Paint EZ was not our lowest quote, but after comparing the proposals, I felt strongly that price shouldn’t be the deciding factor on a project this large. The level of detail in Will’s quote, the quality of the products being used, the preparation involved, and the long-term touch-up options gave me much more confidence in what we were actually paying for. I wasn’t looking for the cheapest way to paint our house—I wanted it done right and wanted it to last.

The quote included pictures of every area of our house and barn that would be painted, how many coats would be applied, and exactly what products would be used. Their standard paint was already a solid quality product, but Will also gave us multiple upgrade options that included higher-quality paint and longer-term yearly touch-up coverage. We chose the top, 7-year option. Our siding was still in good condition but desperately needed an updated color, and the cost of painting was significantly less than replacing perfectly good siding. For us, investing in a high-quality, durable paint that could stand up to Michigan’s changing seasons made a lot of sense.

They painted essentially everything on the exterior of our house and barn, including the siding, trim, gutters, downspouts, and window frames. I was especially impressed with the amount of prep work they did. Every window was completely covered, and as the project progressed, they were very careful to protect areas that had already been finished while working on the remaining sections.

The crew was friendly and respectful, showed up when they said they would, worked some very long days, and cleaned up after themselves every day. Rain and humidity created some challenges during our project, but they worked around the weather and put in longer days when conditions allowed so they could stay on track.

Will was excellent about communicating throughout the entire process. He answered questions as they came up, kept us informed about what was happening, and was simply very easy to work with. He also offers a color visualization process so customers can see what different color combinations will look like on their own home before making a decision. I already knew exactly what colors I wanted, so I didn’t need to take advantage of it, but I think it’s a great service to offer.

When the job was finished, Will personally walked around the entire house and barn with us to inspect everything. We found just a few small areas that needed touching up, and those are already scheduled to be taken care of when they return after our new front door is installed.

Most importantly, we LOVE the finished result. The house looks like these are the colors it should have been all along. Our barn sits back in the shade of several trees and used to almost disappear into the surroundings. Now it stands out beautifully.

Would I hire Paint EZ again? I already have. They’re coming back to paint the main and second floors of our home, including the walls, all of our new trim and doors, and our vaulted family room that is currently finished in white pine.

When you’re willing to bring a company back for another major project, I think that says just about everything. I would absolutely recommend Will and the Paint EZ of Grand Rapids team.

I was very pleased with the results! The painters consulted me as questions came up and everything was done perfectly. I had them skip a small portion of the house where there was a bird's nest and they said they would come back on do that area whenever I'm ready. The primary reason that I went with this company is that they offer renderings of how the house will look with the colors we've chosen. We went through well over a dozen renderings and finally arrived at the choice that we love (our initial choice of colors would have been a big mistake).
